Thank you - Appreciation Hi-Tea

Dear friends

Just a note to thank all of you for your presence and assistance during our Hi-Tea yesterday afternoon. It would not be such a great success without all of you. The turn-out was unbelievable. Despite a Sunday whereby it is a family day, toastmasters keep pouring into our function. Even our busy bride-to-be was able to find time to drop by with her fiancee. thanks Lay Kun.

We were such a great team last year - I am going to miss you guys coming to my office for the council meetings, but I do hope we will continue to meet each other in our mastering journey.

Sincerely, I have learnt alot through all of you and have a lot to catch up to be at your level.

Congratulations to Irene for achieving the AG of the Year....To me, all AGs are winners!
.... Remember, winning an external award is not what you hold in your hands...it is the internal reward that you hold in your heart.
this was what I picked this up in one of the Toastmaster magazine and I truly believe in it. Once again, thank you very much, terima kasih.

Welcome to Term 2009 - 2010 ... Time for TLI 1 !

Dear Clubs EXCOs in Division B,


Today, the 6th day since the new term begin! I am sure that all the EXCOs from the members of clubs of Division B are eagerly waiting for the great reunion that we normally have at the beginning of the term! Yes, TLI 1! We will meet in TLI 1, not only for the reunion or networking but also for us to learn our respective new roles in how to bring our clubs to a greater height.


Yes, it is around the corner! TLI 1 for term 2009 - 2010 will be held on this Saturday, 11th July 2009 at Wisma IJM, Jalan Yong Shook Lin, 46050 Petaling Jaya. The map is as below:

District 51 2009 KL Semi Annual Convention - 23 ~ 25 Oct, 2009

For those of us who have attended the recent Kuching Convention, I am sure that you could still feel the excitement and the cheerful moments that we had! None of us felt the presence of age throughout the past 3 days 2 nights, or more. Our presence has made Kuching a more lively town and not to forget the noise that we have created. Special Travel Package by MAS

Dear Toastmasters,

I know that some of us are still on the look up for a good travel package to KL in October for the KL Semi Annual Convention 2009 in Genting Highlands. You really have to take a look at what Malaysia Airlines has specially arranged for you.

Malaysia Airlines, the country's main airline carrier will be providing special assistance to all participants in making arrangements for their flights. MAS will provide special discounts for the participants to attend the KL Genting Semi Annual Toastmasters Convention 2009.

As for the transfer from KLIA to Genting Highland and vice-versa, please note that MASholidays Department will have the Tour Management System (TMS) in place by then and the participants can go online and buy the transfer as DIY pay by credit card.
