KEU S.H.E. Day 2010 Write Up - TM

KEU S.H.E. Day is a CSR Program jointly supported by Bomba, (WWF) World Wide Fund for Nature, Jabatan Kesihatan Malaysia, Department of Environment Malaysia, Jabatan Alam Sekitar, Pusat Darah Negara, Malaysia Productivity Centre, Majlis Daerah Hulu Selangor, CitiBank, Toastmasters International, Misty Cool, Mglow Systems, Eways Enterprise and Groway . This year held on 2nd October 2010, 9am in Bukit Beruntung, Rawang patron by YB P. Kamanalathan.

This is the 6th time KEU organize this event since year 2005 and it has became more and more successful and meaningful as commented by KEU TM IPP CC Janson Ang.

Some of the programs are blood donation, Free of charge for body check ups for staffs neighbouring industries and open community and publics. Provide recycle bins for recycle items collection like papers & aluminium cans, and safety, health & environment exhibitions to promote awareness by the mentioned supports of the government & private entities.

KEU Toastsmasters Club plays an important part in the communication channel of Safety, Health and Environment Values to the industries, big corporate and community vide its membership drive to recruit members for improvement in communication, public speaking, leadership , management & other skills. All these Leadership & Communication skills will definitely contribute towards the successful S.H.E. Day evidence by the selfless efforts of KEU TM Club President CC, CL Andrew Tenh in Grooming and Nurturing the KEU TM Club members.

We are confidence this program shall bring great values & benefit in saving the earth and YOU as per our Theme "Persekitaran Selamat , Hidup Sihat" or "Safe Environment , Healthy Living".

Division B proudly brings you a CINEMATIC EXPERIENCE with this year's Humorous Speech & Evaluation Contest.

We will have past Area Governors, Leaders and Experienced Toastmasters from all over Division B competing for the COVETED TITLE of Division B Champion!

Division B- Realignment of Clubs, Divison Governor Elected & Area Governor Elected for Term 2009/2010

Dear Members of Toastmasters,

At the recent District 51 Council Meeting #2 (17 April 2009) in Kuching, DTM Leong Oi Wah of Ernst & Young's Toastmasters Club (Area W2) & MAICSA Toastmasters Club (Area W5) has been elected as the Division B Gorvernor for term 2009/2010. Congratulations and we definitely will have a great term under the able leadership of DTM Leong Oi Wah.

Do you know that D'Utama Toastmasters Club from Area B4 has recently garnered the Best Club Website Award as the Third Place Winner (Silver Web)?

The club has won a:

Gold-Tone trophy cup (small) from Toastmasters International for webmaster, and
3 large Toastmasters membership pins for club

All of us in Division B are certainly proud about this as this shows the club commitment in providing the best for its members. The website is used as the platform for communication and recognition for its members and members from other clubs, it is also serve the purpose as the publicity avenue on all the club's activities.

All these will not come into places without the commitment of the club members and especially the webmaster, Vijay Balasegaram.
